Seven Oak Middle School "What's Cool about Our School?"
Tuesday May 13th from 5 to 7. You'll enjoy an ancient chinese and India exhibit, art gallery, band and choir concert, book fair, bbq, greenhouse, lego robotics demonstration, math challenge, medieval ages display, sixth grade displays, tech lab demo, tsunami exhibit, volunteer recognition, and more.
Seven Oak will host an incoming sixth grade parent orientation June 3rd from 6 to 7. Students are welcome to attend with a parent. Meeting will discuss schedules, organization, expectations, lockers, etc.
Join West Albany Senior parents and Burgerville for dinner out on Wednessay May 14th from 5 to 8. 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated for a drug and alcohol free West Albany Senior All Night party.
Red Cross 90 years of service celebration in Lane County.

Lafayette Elementary Carnival
Friday May 16th fro 5:30 to 8 pm...open to the public. Lafayette is located at 3122 Madison Street SE in Albany. The "Under the Sea" Carnival will have delicious food, inflatables, kids train, and a raffle. Tons of games, and a chance to win a girls and boys bike with helmets, an I-pot, and 2 tickets to Kenny Chesney June 3rd.
West Albany Hi-Steppers dance clinic
Saturday May 17th from 9 to 1...followed by a show for family and friends. Just $25 per student (including pizza lunch and a t shirt). The clinic will take place at the WAHS gym. Age 3 to 4 years and K-8th grade welcome. Pre-registration forms are given out to local schools.
First annual Poker Run in Memory of Justin James Terherst
Saturday May 31 beginning at
Pacific Pride on Highway 20 and Reeves Parkway. Registration begins
at 9 am...ride will conclude at Sherman Street Bar and Grill. There
will be live music, a raffle, and all proceeds go to the Lebanon Relay
for Life in loving memory of Justin James Terherst. All bikes are
welcome...a suggested $20 minimum donation is requested
Walk for Wishes in Salem
May 31 to benefit local children's wishes. Everyone is welcome to walk the 5K walk and fun run. Gather pledges to raise money to support Make a Wish Foundation. $20 for adults, and $10 for children to walk. Includes a t shirt and the post walk festivities. To register, visit www.orwish.org.
Original play, free admission

Free dental clinic at the Boys and Girls Club of CorvallisOpen
daily for low income school age youth who do not have health
insurance. Referrals are made through Christine Kulonis, the Corvallis
School District nurse at 757-4527. Dr. Ken Johnson will volunteer his
services for 60 hours each month and see approximately 40 children each
month. Volunteer hygienists are on hand as well. For more

Enjoy delicious food, games, raffles, and chances to bid on and win items in a silent auction. also inflatables, tattoos, and hair spray..a junk food walk, the throw-n-soak, 2 liter ring toss, a bean bag toss, 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
Also, join Periwinkle Parent's and teachers Together Saturday may 17th from 11am to 9pm at Spice & Ice...Spice & Ice located in the North Albany Shopping Center, will donate profits from purchases made to Periwinkle.
Walk for Cystic Fibrosis
Saturday May 17th at Madison Plaza at Riverfront Park in Corvallis at 10 am. Registration starts at 9. Money raised will go to the CF Foundation.
