Personality Bio
All Morning show hosts are not married to each other! This disclaimer had to be included as per request by all other unmarried to each other morning show hosts.

Scott and Angie are. Purely for convenience. Their ungodly hours wouldn't work in a marriage with anyone else.  They are also the proud parents of Lincoln. Named for Scott's favorite car, and favorite currency. Check out Lincoln's Log on this page too.

Scott Schuler grew up in the Mid-Willamette Valley, graduating from South Albany High School where he enjoyed playing soccer, listening to Hank Williams Jr. and doing whatever Hank Jr. said was cool in his songs.

After getting an enormous amount of harassment from his friends, and coaches about playing soccer, the 6 foot 6 inch Schuler finally went out for football. He hoped to continue crushing people through college, but it was not meant to be. Instead, a career as a delivery driver called his name. Hours and hours on the road meant hours and hours of listening to the radio. Scott began thinking maybe there was an even easier job out there that required little to no work, and if so, he needed to find it.

Radio was that job. He started at KRKT in 1995 taking orders from the bosses. Now, he bosses everyone around. Completely ignoring his orders, his wife, Angie.

Angie started at KRKT in 1997 after hearing her future husband on the air. She said, "He sounds like future husband material...and I'm sure not gonna find one wearing this poodle skirt." (previous job required Angie to dress in a poodle skirt.)

Angie grew up hating to be called Angie. She's learned to cope, so it's okay. Call her Angie. At first, she wanted to be an artist, because she really colored well. She liked animals, so maybe a veterinarian.
Angie was voted most likely to be a comedian, in 8th grade, and biggest appetite in high school. Taking that as a sign, she decided to study radio. Believe it or not, she wasted two years actually studying radio.

So I guess that's all the important stuff. When they're not working, Scott and Angie enjoy camping, going to Beaver games, having parties, and playing with power tools.

Spring Break in Oregon

Spring Break is almost over...Oregonians celebrate a little differently than the rest of the world.
While most spring breakers need only a change purse to carry their spring break wardrobe, Oregonians remain fully clothed.
It's not just the oversized ski coat that's different.  Oregon Spring Break activities aren't the same as say, what you might have seen on MTV.

  • Everywhere else, Drnik alcohol to lose inhibitions until you pass out
  • Oregon, Drinking to get warm...until you pass out.
  • Everywhere else, Nudity
  • Oregon, Nudity, but only if it's an organized event, with bicycles.
  • Everywhere else, Road Trip from Portland Daytona Beach
  • Oregon, Road closures from Portland to cannon Beach
  • Everywhere else, Fun in the Sun
  • Oregon, 15 minutes of fun in the tanning bed
  • Everywhere else, Throw caution to the wind
  • Oregon, Trim your trees as precaution in the wind.
  • Everywhere else, Bust out the flip flops
  • In Oregon, bust out the flip flops...but wear socks.
  • Lathering on the Sun Tan Lotion
  • Lathering on your psoriasis lotion.

So kids, with only a weekend left in Spring Break, there's still time to clean out the refrigerator, and stack that firewood.
